A positive, lively short-format series about the increasing risks and opportunities in addressing the climate and the way we live.
With a team of young content producers from around the world, we cover breaking and innovative stories - featuring scientists, artists, elders, activists, inventors, educators and visionaries.

Removing carbon from the atmosphere is essential if we're to stand a chance of slowing and reversing climate change. But developing ways to achieve this at scale brings the possibility of new risks.
But doing nothing is no longer an option. So how do we balance rigorous research and caution in a world running out of time?
From climate restoration and repair to ecosystem restoration, we connect with the people and the ideas that may shape our future.

But...

So who do we talk to?
Science and data alone are not enough to shift behavior. People need to understand in simple terms, where we really are, where we need to be - and how we might get there.
But people also need to feel. They need to be communicated with on an emotional level.
Packaging arts and culture stories with science allows audiences to engage with climate issues and solutions on an emotional level.

How do we get a distracted, skeptical world to listen?

Combining science and the arts increases the possibility of people feeling emotionally connected to an issue - and that is when opinions can shift opinion and possibly, behavior.
ENGAGE, INFORM, ENTERTAIN AND INSPIRE

Science
Innovation

Top scientists and engineers share their work on the evolving science of climate restoration and repair.

Innovators are developing new ways to capture, convert and store carbon.
The business of climate repair

Start-ups are making sustainable businesses out of converting sequestered carbon into commercial products
Nature is best at climate repair

Events are overtaking us - Nature until recently could absorb our wastes and support our numbers.
Intentional living

Living off-grid with a minimal footprint can offer significant benefits for health and well-being too
Indigenous knowledge & wisdom

We shouldn't confuse intelligence with wisdom
Range of content
Art, expression & the climate

Art can help people connect more emotionally to the climate and future.
The built environment

From tiny homes to 5- star hotels, we explore carbon-neutral and carbon-negative construction projects

SOME OF OUR UPCOMING CONTENT
The arts play a major role in communicating the importance and beauty of what we have,
and what we're losing...
Artist and photographer Nikki Baxendale captures fleeting moments of life and transition in the Arctic Circle, drawing attention to a fast-vanishing world.

SHARING THE WONDER AND THE POSSIBILITIES
3 of our proposed presenters

BRINGING DATA TO LIFE
Garritt Benisch brings data to life, visualizing what 1 mile of carbon produced by the average car looks like.
Visualizing historic data and clarifying projections ranging from the conservative to the hopeful.
A CARBON MILE

Cloud brightening
Many of our coastal areas are losing reflectivity, which adds to the warming of our oceans.
What if we could increase cloud cover and reflectivity?

Center for Climate Repair at Cambridge
Prof. Shaun Fitzgerald explains the principles, potential risks and benefits of cloud brightening and how it may be a useful tool to slow the rate of warming.
USS Hornet, San Francisco
Cloud brightening is the process of adding a salt water based aerosol into the atmosphere to increase cloud cover and reflectivity. Research continues to assess the benefits and possible risks

We recently visited the USS Hornet in San Francisco, the site of early cloud-brightening testing. A lack of community engagement brought the research to an abrupt halt, illustrating the importance of communicating with local stakeholders

WAR, CARBON & CLIMATE
As the wars in Ukraine, Gaza and Sudan continue with immeasurable human cost, their effects on the climate are significant.

Dr. Svitlana Krakovska,
Head of Applied Climatology
Laboratory, Ukraine
We meet with climate scientists and innovators who continue to work in Ukraine to bring about awareness and fundamental change.

Composer, conductor Christophe Chagnan discusses his symphony Terra Nostra a complete work dedicated to communicating the beauty and losses of planet earth.
